Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA)

AvMA is the charity that supports people who have suffered avoidable medical harm. When the NHS and other healthcare services fall short, they advocate for improvements to patient safety and justice.

Alex Wormald's volunteering work for AvMA

Each week, our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team, who have years’ of experience in advising patients and families who have been affected by a medical accident, volunteer for AvMA via their helpline.
Two helpline callers who spoke to Alex Wormald in 2024 gave the following feedback to AvMA. ‘Thank you. I found the person I spoke to today very compassionate, very considered, and very knowledgeable and thank you, you’re providing a great service.’
