CWJ Sponsor Westcombe Park RFC

Clarkson Wright & Jakes have been the main sponsors of Westcombe Park Rugby Club for over 15 years and enjoy a very close business and social relationship with the whole club and with several members of staff either playing or coaching at various levels over the years.

The club was originally founded in 1904, and moved to the Orpington area in 1937 and now occupies 23 acres, located at Goddington Dene, next to Goddington Park. The 1st XV pitch has a covered 200 seated stand, and home matches regularly attract over 250 people, but this does not compare to the annual Mini Rugby Festival which has run since 1972, and see crowds of 3-4,000 children and parents attending.

As a long-established law firm in Orpington, Clarkson Wright & Jakes aim is to make a positive impact on the local community and for us Combe, being such a well-respected local club, are the perfect partner.
